June 1, 2023 The city of Grants offers the convenience to its residents, business owners, and the general public of processing credit/debit card payments for various city fees.Effective July 1, 2023, the City of Grants 3rd party merchant provider, Elavon, will charge a non-refundable service fee of 3% of the transaction amount to offset the costs associated with accepting and processing electronic payments via credit/debit card. On your statement, you will see two charges: one for the City of Grants for the payment amount; and a separate charge from Elavon for 3% of the purchase amount. the City of Grants will not retain any portion of the 3% service fee. The city of Grants does accept cash, checks, and money orders/cashier's checks as additional accepted forms of payment.
